A small amplifier repair shop in the DFW area. This means that custom performance modifications can be taylored to your specific needs on a more personal basis. I Robert Latham, (lead tech/owner) will personaly meet and talk with you.

 

We will cover any and all concerns that are important to you and your gear. So that I may understand exactly what you expect. I will tell you honestly if it's an economicaly wise decision and if there are more economical allternatives.

 

We have  very low overhead and operational costs. Un-like the large retail music centers, This means I can pass this savings on to our customers.

 

I do not market gimic's or trick's! 

 

I only provide proven custom mods that do work!

Marshall "Brown Sound"

This mods offers a early VanHalen tone

for some models of amplifiers.

     *The JCM 800 model #2203 is best suited for this mod.*

 

CBS Silverface to Blackface

The Fender corporation produced many

re-issued and modified versions of early designs during the CBS years. This mod returns the Silverface designs back to the original Blackface designs.

 

GAIN/DISTORTION

Many styles of popular music require larger amounts of gain or distortion than was offered from most classic design's. Many musicians started driving the front end of thier amps with stomp box's to acheive these level's. This mod offers those level's without the use of external devices. Performing musicians can understand the need of less external gear.

FENDER LATE MODEL COMBO'S VOLUME CONTROL 

 

The engineeers at Fender thought of a new market scheem for moving more of the small combo lines of amplifiers.

 

WOW!

"If this amp is this loud on 2 just think how loud it will be on 10!"

 

This mod repairs the excessive volume levels at lower settings on the volume knob, but still yet allows maximum volume to be reached at max settings on the volume knob. 0 is still 0 and 10 is still 10 but everything from 0 to 10 is a gradual increase.
